Tried and True Black-Owned Brands Worth Every Dollar

Various Black-owned brands

If you know me, then you know how I feel about Black-owned brands. I will always choose Black-owned first. After that, I am looking for women-owned and local brands. When none of these don’t work I’m going for brands that I feel have excellent customer service and products. Why? Even though “buying Black” is more popular today, these businesses still only represent 3% of US businesses. That means we still have work to do. Black businesses are still very much underrepresented and need us to infuse our dollars into their infrastructure.

This should go without saying but I strongly value my money and want it to be spent well. Not only am I choosing the Black-owned brands but I am also approaching the purchase with the spirit of high expectations (like with any other brand I shop).

The brands below are companies that I have tried and absolutely loved. In addition to a quality product, the shopping experience is phenomenal and the customer service is on point. Note that these don’t include restaurants and other businesses that might be local. Maybe I’ll do a post on those next!
