Nashville Travel Guide

I love a good life hack! It just makes you feel like you’ve conquered the world. One of my latest “adulthood life hacks” is turning a work trip into a play trip (after the day’s business is done of course!) If timing and money allow, I love extending a work trip into the weekend (on my own dime) to take advantage of my time in that city. In mid-June I traveled to Nashville for a conference and extended the trip a few days to enjoy more of what the city had to offer.

Nashville has been very popular lately, I’m hearing of so many trips there for bachelorette parties, birthdays, etc. It’s definitely a cute city to explore. I think it’s an interesting cross between Charleston, New Orleans and Savannah but I’m sure many will beg to differ. Nonetheless, it’s a gem of a southern city that offers good food, excellent music and an experience like you’ve never seen before.

Today on the blog, I’m sharing a few places I stayed, a few restaurants where I ate, and the places I went to during my time in Nashville. PS: I also filmed a video of my everyday makeup routine during my trip. Check it out on my YouTube channel.

STAY

Virgin Hotels Nashville

  • Located on Music Row. It’s very quiet and a little off the busy buzz of Nashville.

Fairlane Hotel

  • Great for being in the middle of downtown Nashville. Close proximity to almost everything. Plus they give you a glass of wine or beer at check in!

I’d recommend both of these hotels for solo travelers and couples. I think the Virgin Hotel would be better for friend trips and maybe a small family. Their double rooms actually have a divided door between them which I thought was pretty cool.
